Holiday Kindness Programme
We are glad to announce the official start of our “Holiday Kindness” programme from tomorrow the 15th of August 2020 to 15th of September 2020.
As the Noela Lyonga Foundation strives to inspire people use volunteerism to develop themselves and communities at large, I would like to appreciate the many supporters, partners, funders and volunteers associated with the Foundation’s journey. There is no doubt that the longevity and work of the Foundation would not have happened without all of you.
I would like to introduce our activities and why we created this Foundation in 2015 which became legal in 2016. I am aware that this will be the first introduction for many readers. This webpage does in many ways reflect why I and our team of volunteers are attracted to inspiring someone using volunteerism. As seen on this site, we have reports of some of our main projects like healthy lifestyle, community empowerment, inspire an inmate and volunteer placement. Our wish is to encourage and inspire more people out there use volunteerism as a tool to develop themselves and their communities for a sustainable future.
There is a central message that the Noela Lyonga Foundation is passionate about inspiration that inspires growth and we are more inspired to have a database of thousands of volunteers both nationally and internationally. We are quite inspired with our expanding networks in Cameroon, Nigeria, Tanzania and the United Kingdom and we hope to extend our networks with you too. So far, with recognitions like the 11th Points of Light Award in the Commonwealth by Her Majesty the Queen of England and the Foreign Commonwealth Office International Lead acknowledgment in London, Manchester and Sheffield, we strongly believe there is hope for better days ahead of this inspiring journey.
The Noela Lyonga Foundation hopes to expand its increasingly connected network tying to the great and small things that shape daily lives economically, socially and culturally. I hope you feel inspired visiting our site. Remember you can connect with us as a volunteer, donor, partner…

We encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for our volunteers and community members. We do this through health awareness street campaigns and sporting events. We focus on reducing the spread of diseases and illnesses like depression, heart attack, cancer, stress ...
We volunteer to visit communities to encourage personal development of the indigeneous people and create volunteerism clubs. Since 2017 we have engaged volunteers in empowering grassroot communities and we have created volunteerism clubs in 20 Fako communities.
Through inspirational programmes we help reduce depression, increase the feeling of belonging between inmates and members of our communities. We also provide opportunities for inmates to develop and promote their talents to ease their rehabilitation and reintegration into the society.
We provide long-term and short-term volunteer placements. Long-term volunteer placements assign volunteeers to serve in institutions for more than a month while short-term placements assign volunteers to serve in daily and weekly events.
