We encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for our volunteers and community members. We do this through health awareness street campaigns and sporting events. We focus on reducing the spread of diseases and illnesses like depression, heart attack, cancer, stress…
We volunteer to visit communities to encourage personal development of the indigeneous people and create volunteerism clubs. Since 2017 we have engaged volunteers in empowering grassroot communities and we have created volunteerism clubs in 20 Fako communities.
Through inspirational programmes we help reduce depression, increase the feeling of belonging between inmates and members of our communities. We also provide opportunities for inmates to develop and promote their talents to ease their rehabilitation and reintegration into the society.
We provide long-term and short-term volunteer placements. Long-term volunteer placements assign volunteeers to serve in institutions for more than a month while short-term placements assign volunteers to serve in daily and weekly events.
